Why? Why? WHY??
My one goal for the day, no, let me rephrase that, my MOST IMPORTANT goal for the day was to get a haircut.
Getting my haircut is a job. The timing aspect, R.I.D.I.C.U.L.O.U.S. Notice the bold type, and the essence of slow reading with all the periods. Totally not exaggerated.
Making an appointment is a joke. Really, a time? A specific time? I might as well go sit on the lawn and watch for chicken nuggets to fall from the sky, because, there is about as much chance of that happening as me making it to a specific appointment time.
Not to pass the buck here, but, little dude, love you and all, but you're kind of a baby.
So after preschool, once little princey had had a rest, I decided that a haircut was looking do-able, and we made a run for it. That is, Crazy (Abby), Crazier (Trent), and me.
We stopped at a couple of quick haircut places which already had people waiting, and well, decided that a 20 minute wait was just too long to entertain.
Finally, I found a place, and, oh my, I wish I hadn't.
Do you know where I'm going with this? Do you?! Dave, just nod your head and act like you are with me here, ummm, kind of like that day we got married, remember THAT?
The song that I have linked is one that I remember singing MANY-A-TIME in my grandparents backseat as we drove through the hills on Montana. AND IT IS JUST WHAT I AM FEELING TODAY. See it HERE.
