Date Night

There are only three words to adequately describe this month.

OUT
OF
CONTROL

When thinking about this winter I really thought things would slow down after Christmas, I mean, shouldn't they? My goal was to get our photos from the past year printed and into books this January/February. Having the computer play our pictures as screen savers has served to only taunt me, and, if I had the will power, it would be placed in the corner of the office closet as punishment for being such a bully.

Looking at the calender, today is the last day of February, and, I have no pictures printed to show for it. Shameful, simply shameful.

Last night as Dave and I were driving home from our date, did I mention we are on a date kick right now? Wowza, I do love going out! Even if it's just to get a smoothie and Roll (warm, big, smothered in honey butter, with extra honey added) from Roxberry. Feels just like getting a big squeeze from heaven, only, maybe yummier.

Anyways, as we were driving home, we held hands. He even held my sticky hand that got a dab of honey on it, dreamy isn't he.We talked about how our marriage seems to go in waves. Some waves have been good, and some that seem to crash against the sand, HARD.

We have learned a lot. We have learned to cry together. We have learned how to fight together (love you Dave!), and we have learned to ride the waves together.

Even with the pictures of our life together living only in our computers memory, I think we are doing okay, and heck, there's always March, right?

I love you Dave, and, thanks for the smoothie!
